Motorbike

I decided to sell my sports car and replace it with a motorbike which is proving to be great fun. I have taken my advanced motorcycle test with the IAM aand am an Observer for the Solent Advanced Motorcyclists and am currently training with RospaSmart

This is me on a course at the California Superbike School

I can highly recommend this course. We spent 2 days at Silverstone on Level 1 & 2 using the Stowe circuit. I couldn't believe the difference it made and it really showed me what the bike is capable of and it really helped my confidence.

Bandit

My first big bike was this Suzuki Bandit 650 whch I am very pleased with, which I purchased from Rob Willshire. Despite being initially restricted to 33bhp it is a very capable motorbike and it now has side panniers and I recently took it to Belgium where it performed brilliantly.

This Bandit has a hugger, scotoiler, double bubble screen, autocom and is fitted with a Garmin Zumo 550, heated grips, Givi side panniers and top box, and R&G crash protectors and bar ends. Tjis bike is no longer restricted.

SV650 Sport

Then I decided to get a 2nd bike and wanted something completely different and decided on the Suzuki SV650 Sport.

This SV650 has a hugger, scotoiler, double bubble screen, stomp grips, autocom and is fitted with a Garmin Zumo 550 and R&G crash protectors.

o 33bhp and its great fun to ride. ThThis

This year I decided to get a proper touring bike and selected the Honda Deauville N700ABS from Portsmouth Motorcycles because it is one of the few touring bikes which I can handle. It has the large pannier set, heated grips, autocom and is fitted with a Garmin Zumo 550 and undercowl.

Here is a tip if you find the seat too high and lowering the suspension doesn't help enough. Purchase some Daytona Lady Star Boots which offer an extra 1" of height.
